Change Your Life With Chia

Chia seeds are an excellent protein source, they are about 14% protein, which is very high compared to most plants, especially for people who eat little or no animal products. Add Chia with flax seed and you have a wonderful source of vegetarian protein.

It contains calcium, manganese, and phosphorus, and is a great source of healthy omega-3 fats. They can be eaten raw or soaked in liq­uid for at least 10–15 min­utes, mak­ing them into a gelati­nous, tapioca-like sub­stance, which can be eaten straight or mixed into a vari­ety of foods. You can use it for replacement for eggs in your recipes.  Simply mix a tablespoon of chia with three tablespoons of water and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

Being high in dietary fiber, chia helps promote bowel regularity and healthy stool. Consuming a single tablespoon of chia seeds a day will help your body utilize the food you consume more efficiently.
